Testing in Real Projects: Logo, Packaging, and Web Use

Logo Concept: As the primary logotype for “Haven Brew,” Slider worked beautifully. It gave the brand a friendly, artisanal feel that matched the shop’s new rustic-modern aesthetic. I paired it with a clean sans serif for the tagline, which created a nice visual contrast.
Packaging Mockup: On a coffee bag mockup, Slider looked great as the main brand name. It felt premium and handcrafted, especially when printed in a muted gold foil. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for longer product descriptions or ingredient lists—smaller text became hard to read.
Business Card: Used for the owner’s name and title, Slider added a personal touch without overwhelming the minimalist layout. Kerning was key here—tightening the spacing helped maintain visual balance.
Website Header: For the homepage hero section, I used Slider as a webfont. It loaded smoothly and rendered well across devices. I made sure to keep the text short and paired it with a modern sans serif for body copy.
Social Media Layout: On Instagram posts and Pinterest graphics, Slider was a standout. It worked especially well for quote-based content and featured product highlights. It added a sense of warmth and authenticity that resonated with the brand’s audience.
